Edward Lee - Tenor

Welcome to the website for young British Tenor Edward Lee.

As well as building a career on stage in the more traditional opera settings, Edward is a keed advocate of new music and has worked closely with many young composers, including David Josiah Moore and Raymond Yiu, and has recently finished filming a Film Opera Short, The Manifesto by David Josiah Moore which will be premiered at the Italian Consolate and The Barbican in March.

Edward is also a keen actor and worked with The Royal Theatre, Northampton singing and acting in their new production of Webster's The Duchess of Malfi directed by Laurie Sansom with musical direction by Jonathan Peter Kenny which received **** from The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph and The Independant.

2012 is starting to come together with debuts for Opera South and English Touring Opera and Buxton Festival Opera.
